Carlube BFL455 Dot 4 Brake Fluid 4.55L

Carlube DOT 4 Brake fluid is a synthetic, high quality, high boiling point DOT 4 fluid designed for use in automotive applications as a hydraulic medium in disc and drum brake systems.


US FMVSS 116 DOT 4, SAE J1703 AND ISO 4925 (BS AU174 PT2)


  • High boiling point minimising vapour lock at high operating temperatures
  • Excellent lubricating properties, reducing wear
  • Good corrosion protection for metal components
  • Mixes safely with other DOT 3 and DOT 4 approved fluids


Recommended for automotive type hydraulic brake mechanisms of cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles where either of the performance levels above are recommended. This can also be used where Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) K2233 is recommended. Not suitable for use in mineral oil brake and suspension systems fitted to some Rolls Royce, Citroen and Jaguar models (Refer to vehicle handbook)
